Learned that psychology is more than a theoretical science and that knowing psychology has the potential to improve life.

Explanations of the historical context, because not only that some of the information was repeated but it also added additional un-needed information.

There is nothing that I would do to make this book better.

The subject of the book was psychology and the material was very effective.

This book was awesome because it made the material very easy to understand with a variety of examples, and relating it well to your life. Relating the book to your life makes the material very easy to understand and makes it personable.

I felt the textbook was very personable and especially in the fact that is uses really recent pictures, examples and stories that make it "modern" for most text books.

This book has helped me tremendously in my psych class.

I think there could be more questions at teh end of each chapter and maybe even a "master" quiz at the back of the book to help with class.

I think there was really no 'least helpful' part of the book. It was all needed and helpful. I guess it could have dug in deeper on particular points but it was mostly sufficient. I learned so much from this book. It was easy to read and the side bar info on each page was helpful. Also I appreciated the underlying humor throughout the book.

This book was needed for a Psychology 101 and I liked the side bar info and the chapter reviews. It was also laid out in a logical manner so it was easy to comprehend each chapter.

If the book provided historical events of psychological behavior that have occurred whether fatal or not I believe it would make the book better because the reader can relate it to our world. This also would give a better understanding of Psychological disorders and the role they play in society.

The most interesting thing I learned in this book is PTSD. PTSD is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This disorder is commonly seen in Veterans and military as they come back from war. It is the most interesting to me because it affects so many lives and it is a very interesting concept to grasp.

I like the use of true stories to help explain the subject matter.

The section of disorders and disease was useful as I might have to deal with that in my future career.

This book was fantastic and definitely helped me through the class. Although my professor was great, it is difficult to retain a large amount of information from lecture alone. The book gave great examples, real life stories and popups throughout the textbook so it was easy to understand the information.

Honestly, I thought the book was perfect. It was direct and had enough examples for everyone to understand.
