I would have liked if the book came with a online link to print out the labs. that way I would not have found myself copying them so I didn't have to tear the pages out.read more

I learned a lot of the ACSM recommendations along with the different types of training. I was most surprised by the flexibility and stretching portion. I was under the impression stretching was a must before working out but that is not the case.
This book was very helpful I would say the least helpful part was how to do exercises- the part at the book that gave exercises. I think that this can be kind of outdated and that you can find better information online.read more
The most interesting thing I learned was how to overall live a healthy lifestyle- especially through using a heart rate monitor.
