Additional resources such as online video options to watch assessments would be extremely beneficial.

The primary subject of this book is explaining the therapeutic uses, adverse effects, interactions, and side effects of specific medications and the application of pharmacology in nursing care. This book was extremely thorough and effective in covering the subject.

The most useful thing I learned from this book was the head to toe assessment

This book was not easy to follow and I think it had a lot of unnecessary information that could have been left out

The book was very helpful in walking you step by step through different parts of the human head to toe health assessment. There were also a lot of helpful charts detailing what is normal for each age group along with what would be abnormal for each age group. The material was also worded in such a way that it was very easy to understand.

The primary subject of the book was infants, pediatric, and adult health assessment. This book was very through and helpful in explaining this subject.

I learned more about the human body and how parts interact. This book was great with explaining how to interact with patients, what and what not to do in certain situations, and how to efficiently complete the exams necessary for patients.

First semester of a BSN program, Health Assessment, required me to use this book. It was a wonderful review and extension of Human Anatomy and Physiology.

I really loved this textbook. I found it very helpful with learning how to do patient assessments. I liked the photo's that show you how to correctly inspect, palpate, percuss, and auscultate. Great book.

I can't think of a thing that I would have changed about this book.

This book went hand in hand with a workbook that was very easy to use. The most important information was highlighted in boxes throughout the textbook, which made it easy to focus on.

I found it very interesting to learn about all of the cranial nerves and all of their specific functions.

This book was SO USEFUL in my nursing studies. I am finally at the point in clinical rotations where I am completing full physical examinations on actual patients and this book is what prepared me to do so!

The pictures in this book are wonderful in that they use actual people instead of animations. The skill-checks throughout are a great and an easy place to flip back to if you are simply looking for a quick review.
