The stories were the most useful for me because I remembered all of my grammar and technical writig skills from high school.

I would put all of the essays or stories in one section of the book to make them easier to find.

We actually did not use this book in class. I guess my teacher did not enjoy the content but I did rarely refer to in for answers on types of writing.

Like I said, I did not really utilize this book much so I do not have a least favorite part of the book.

The book was only filled with small stories used for the class. Really didn't learn anything that will help me from this book.

I used this book for English 101. It was only used to read a few small stories from that could have been printed out.

The examples used throughout the book actuality helped me in English. The do it yourself manual.

ENGLISH. And a definite help. In college you write a lot so it put a lot in perspective for me.

English 101 was the required course for the book. It was a slightly more advanced class that high school english.

I felt that the book was okay but a more detailed index would be more useful.

Honestly I had never had another book like this before. It contained all sorts of essays written by other people. It's not that I didn't like the book, I just didn't find it relevant to the class material.

It was a Composition I course. We did a lot of basic creative writing.

This book helped me better understand the course by containing numerous short stories and having examples of the diffrent english literature language.

What i learned from this book is the english language and its parts. the coordinating junction, the suboordinating junction, vers, nouns, pronouns ect.

This book could have been made better by adding more sample papers to read and be able to see how they are wrote.

the most interesting thing about this book was the last day of class when i did not have to look at it again.

Over all the passages inside with questions following the passages were the most helpful.

The primary subject was writing. The book did an ok job covering the writing in this subject. At some points the book got scattered and confused me on the main points it was trying to project.

English composition I. This class went over the main writing styles and editing styles having us write papers for each and learn to edit each others work with constructive criticism.

I would change the fact that when they are showing you something, they shouldn't have you reading a story. I found myself focusing more on the story than what they were trying to have me learn from it, or what they were doing on the side of the page. I am referring to the stories before the actual exercises begin.
