The true american history! Many times as Latinos we are looked down on. In other cases we dont know how to defend ourselves or what to say because we are not as well informed of the truth of the american soil and its founders.read more
It was my first English class. I had never taken an english course. The class was a bit difficult for me in the beginning, after i read a couple of pages and chapters it was pretty self-explanatory.
I learned to read it and not just take notes for that particular class. My professor was not the best so I had to read the book in order to know what was going on in the chapter and to understand. The book taught me about when people first came to the United States all the way up to the events of 1865.read more
I would not change anything about this book. It was easy reading and very helpful.
I learned much more about our history then I initially thought I would. I am 44 years old and a nontraditional student, but I thought I knew a little about our past. I found out that I knew little to nothing about the facts of our past as a country. I was almost discusted with how we actually gained control of this country from the Indians.read more
Study guides. With all the information that the book gives it would make it easier to combine it into a workable guide for studying for tests.

This book started from the very begining to be well thought out and easy to understand. It gave me a chronolgical outline of American History, and it was very effective!
