This book covered the subject clearly and thoroughly. However, the Kindle downloaded version was lacking.
It was organized well and had great pictures and charts/graphs. I am a visual learner so this book made it easy to better understand human nutrition.read more
The class I used this book for was HWE 100. Human Nutrition. In this class I learned the importance of nutrition. I am studying pre-med so this was a required class for me. I thoroughly enjoyed this class as well as learning from this book.

Portion control was one of the more interesting things I learned from this book. It was interesting to see how small out portions really should be and how many people actually follow the standard for acceptable portion sizes.
