New Information Technologies and Women, the: Essential Reflections : Mujer y Desarrollo

This study was presented as background material at a meeting of experts on globalization, technological change and gender equity held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in November 2001. It shows how restrictions imposed by globalization and technological changes make it difficult to achieve gender equity in Latin America and the Caribbean.
