The chapters we did not use in class- otherwise everything was great!!

Suplimented lectures really well. Laid out studies and proof of claims.

Biopsychology, undergraduate. A more in-depth look at neurotransmitters, and the overall physical activities of the brain, such as the sodium potassium pump.

The whole book is a great source of information. If anything, it is almost too detailed.

By far this book was the best in understanding the material , not only with beautiful illustrations, flow charts and extremely help brain anatomy review section, but in clear and concise readability.

I absolutely loved this course and textbook really helped. From the fundamental explanation of the anatomy of brain cell to the more specific and pathways and actions of neurotransmitters and there antagonist on the body, this textbook was great read.

The interactive CD was not very helpful; there are many ways it could be improved upon.

This book goes over the structure of the nervous very well, linking well-known behaviors to very intricate neurological processes.

It describes central nervous system overall. Reading about how the nervous system functions in the cellular level is pretty awesome to learn. Again how sensory and motor functions in everyday life is pretty interesting. Lastly how does the brain develop from the time we were born to adulthood is fascinating.

The book describes and every part of the brain with its function. It has a lot of information so take it one by one and learn it with patience. It is a very intersting book if you like brain.

Definitely a user-friendly book for a difficult subject. It was clear and a lot of the time talked about very new discoveries in the field, which was really captivating. Visuals were good too.

Neurobiology is notorious for being one of the hardest classes at my school and the rumors were true. This book was a great help to a difficult course.
