No change to this book. This book was purchase for my Culture Anthropology class. But the only used this book was for a couple of chapters. The chapter on Race was interesting.

It was introduction to Culture Anthropology class. This book was used to reference subject matters and issues we discussed. The professor used journals and articles, then the book itself. I hope your professor uses the book more.

I learned a lot about different cultures and how to approach learning about different cultures in this book. This book was a great introduction to the study of cultural anthropology. I felt that it covered all aspects of cultural anthropology in a brief and concise manner that was helpful to a 100-level anthropology course.

There were parts of this book that were very dry, therefore, making it difficult to read.

This book was a great tool in understanding the dynamics of cultural anthropology. The articles were interesting, and engaging. Often the articles prompted me to do further research on the topic of Anthropological ethics and techniques in conducting research in a foreign environment.

The primary subject of this book is an introduction into the world of Cultural Anthropology. The book gave great examples of what to expect as a cultural anthropologist. One of the focuses on the book was on the effect of multiculturalism and ethnicity in different regions of the world.

I really liked this book. The author seemed to bring up inportant points about anthropology.

I think this book is one of the better books i have ever read. It seems like the author knew what he was saying.

I used this for my anthropology: cultures of the world class. I wasn't a huge fan of the book because it felt repetitive and seemed like it had no faith in the audiences intelligence.

I learned a lot about the development of language throughout history and the differences between animal and human communication.

Cultural anthropology, it was a slow class as everything seemed to be taught slowly for a better understanding. The class was by far a good, since the professor was a good one too. I guess it's not what you read but also who puts enthusiasm into what you are to read. And what you will learn and help you further on, on different courses or even in life itself.

It was better than the other two required. In the way that it had more images, not only the images but also the color coded texts allow you to follow along better.

The most interesting thing I learned in this book was information about how the different cultures live. This was the most interesting because it gave me a look into the reality of how other people live.

Some parts of this book were difficult to understand, and some sections were dry because of the dialogue used.

less captions, at times it seemed to focus more on a person or thing in a picture than the content of the chapter.

the reading was fairly easy and pretty interesting.
