I used this book throughout nursing school for all of my classes. I even used it for clinical purposes.
The book is well written and articulates the material in a clear and easy to understand manner. This was one of the best book I've ever bought for nursing school. Daunting textbook, FULL of so much information your head will spin.read more
The book is well written and articulates the material in a clear and easy to understand manner. I absolutely recommend this books over one large volume. The book is definitely not one of my favorites but this study guide really helps you understand the material.
Compared to other med-surg books, this one is easy to read. Paragraphs are straight and to the point. you can always easily find what you are looking forread more
The primary subject of this book is nursing process. It guides the nurse candidate to think in a way that is most helpful to a patient in any disease process or condition.
This book explores patient care in various clinical settings and focuses on key topics such as prioritization, clinical decision-making, patient safety, and NCLEX exam preparation. Overall it is a great book; very informative and easy to read and understand.read more
This book helped me to start thinking more critically in clinical situations and when going over course material. It helped me to actually put myself in clinical situations and to better understand what needed to be done.
This book was very helpful throughout nursing classes, it was not only helpful in class but helpful at home too. An improvement for this book could be more pictures/diagrams to go along with the text. I thought the book did an overall pretty good job, if I had to make a suggestion that is one that I would make, not saying that it necessarily needs it though.read more
To be honest, I thought this book was overall a true gem. It explained concepts and information clearly, in an understandable, unambiguous fashion. I thought this book was a real help over the years, I'm sad to part with it but I need the money for college now.
