I thought it was well written. My only complaint would be the font is too small for me.
It was very detailed when it came down to the problems being work out. It showed me how to actually break down the problem.read more
I like the book just like it is but if it came with more problem solving for you to do.
When listing the step by step process of solving a problem, I would make it easier to follow.read more
The step by step process to solving a problem. It seemed as if parts were left out.
This book was very detailed and helped me understand the math problems. At times we wouldn't even need help from the teacher. but in other sections it was really self explanatory.read more
I must admit some of the sections in the book were not as helpful. Our professor even had to explain in more depth on how to solve a problem and at times showed us other strategies to find the answer that was different from the book and way easier.

MyMathLab was not helpful at all, a lot of extra work.
What would make this book better is if the book had all the answers to all the questions as opposed to just having the answers to the odd numbered questions only.read more
The cla ss that required me to use this book is mathematics pre-calculs and it's an introduction course for business majors.
It's very easy to understand. I stress that out because I am terrible at math, I am not a math student at all but with the examples the book provided, I can easily follow through without my professor. I relied on this book the whole semester.read more
I took a business math in my college and we used everything exactly from the book therefore this book was a huge help. I would be so lost without it!
