I learned a lot about different writings that were written a long time ago. Different poems and short stories that were classics of different time periods. The stories also required a higher level of thinking and you had to look at the stories in different ways. It used the stories to help show examples of a good research paper, poem, short story, etc.

I thought the book was good the way it was. But if i had to choose one thing it would probably be some of the examples that were given. Yes they were great pieces, but if they were a little more new it might get the attention of the readers age for this book.

The lack of information about important studies I did not like as much I was more engaged to the pictures and visual, basic information that was given from the use of the textbook.

More visual evidence and procedures because I was very it engaged through the visual perspective of the textbook. The procedures I found confusing in the test but easier when used in lab online.

Gave plenty of passages that gave examples of specific writing types that we were studying.

Nothing. This book was perfect as it is and nothing would be able to make it any better than it already is.

This is an English book. The book was highly effective in covering English, and the literary excerpts throughout the book did a good job of connecting the written language with various social beliefs and activities.

I learned a lot about using literature to learn about society as well as to express things that are not generally accepted.

It was a good collection of stories that we were required to read in the class. Beyond that there is not much to say.

English class in which we read and analyzed stories by select authors.
