Almost every part of this book was helpful to me by helping me understand and provide the view of the important general developmental stages that human beings pass through birth, infancy, adulthood, old age, and lastly death. It has provided me with knowledge about human lifespan development.

This book helped me understand the course better because the book provides us with examples and stories and experiences people have encountered during birth, infancy, adulthood, old age, and lastly death. The book gave me a better understanding on how to take care of new born babies that are preterm and how to nurture and care for them, that chapter has helped me significantly because I am currently doing my nursing and has provided me with wonderful examples on how to take care of infants. It has helped me to solve my problems and give me a better understanding that problems can be fixed.

From birth to death this book outlined what happens during every stage of life. It was very interesting knowing what happens, why it happens, and what will happen as we grow older.

My course was online and I basically read the chapter and took a quiz. The reading is very long, but quite interesting.

There are some parts of the book I didn't like because it seemed rushed when you wanted to learn more about a topic and too boring when for the topics of noninterest. But, overall, it was a 3 out of 5 star book.

I learned and relearned so many things from this book. It makes you look at life from a different perspective altogether because things seem to be "ah ha" moments. You begin to notice a pattern associated with life, that is associated with moments in your life and others. You compare everything to personal and not so personal experiences. I really loved this book and hate that I had to sell it, but I hope others can learn from it as well.

Great it was more hands on. It only asked a couple of questions for homework. It was easy to get a 100 on the homework.

Everything that we needed to learn to pass the class. It was very clear and used real life examples.

The book was needed for Life-Span Development Psychology. Basically, the whole class is about human development (physical, mental, social, and emotional) from conception to adulthood.

To be honest I never used to book, but it came in handy for my classmates and is highly recommended by some professors.

More information and less on random "personal" stories interspersed throughout the chapters.

Health Promotion/Risk Reduction- it was a nutrition course combined with a human life and development course.

This book was used for a life span psychology class I was taking in college. It started from an infancy all the way to late adulthood and discussed topics that shows the way we learn and develop. The book was very useful especially when it came to the tests. It gave me clear definitions to theories and words that I did not know.

It was least helpful when looking in the index. I mean the index was some what helpful but it needed to be more clear. There would be times when I couldn't find things in the book when looking in the index.

The author was very clear, precise, and to the point. The book included lots of extra information that was helpful and many statistics that allowed a better grasps of knowledge. The book was very well written making the book interesting and easier for me to learn and study. I am so very glad that I had the opportunity to study this book and as a future Registered Nurse and current Practical nurse I will use the knowledge from this book for many more years.

Absolutely nothing. Great book! The illustrations were amazing, well written and very helpful.
