Nothing, is a great book. My only problem with it is that it's quite heavy and I had to carry plenty of books around.
Maybe to include a CD with some situational experiences to be able to process and then see if a student can come to a conclusion as to what the best ethical/legal approach would be.read more
How it was easily broke down into different categories as to what types of issues and ethics could be displayed in the workplace. I also liked the assessments at the beginning of the chapter, and then the fact that you could read over the chapter and then go back to the assessment again and make your selection and see how your viewpoints may have changed due to becoming more educated within the chapter readings.

This was for a undergrad Social Work class called Introduction to Ethics. The class had us using the NASW and the Ohio Code of Ethics and comparing the two a lot to find inconsistencies, and this book was a guide for doing that, and for presenting ethical dilemmas.read more
This book presented many situations in where the "best" response was not obvious. It showed how important it is to have personal guidelines in place before encountering these situations in the real world. The content of the book wasn't extremely engaging, but the overall topic is very relevant and interesting.

I like the fact that the book demonstrated the issues and ethics that a person in a helping profession should be aware of and it also showed what it looked like and how to not only apply the ethics but also show guides on how to go about solving related problems. I especially like the CD- Ethics in Action that helped me see a live dealing with ethical issues.read more
It gave more vignettes demonstrating ethical issues and how to respond to them. I also appreciated the commentaries, activities and exercises that help me practice what I learned.
