Provides great examples for people who aren't that great in chemistry. Makes it just a little bit easier to understand.

The class that requires this book was introductory chemistry.

I would leave it like it is. It will teach you everything you need to know for any science degree. This one is used for the nursing programs along with any program of study needing Science.

Science classes- one of them being nursing. I was taking the nursing program using this book as one of the essential books needed. Although it is use for many programs needing Science.

This book was a great intro into chemistry for me and it prepared me a lot for my next chemistry class which I ended up doing better than thanks to this book.

I learned everything I needed to know to move onto a harder chemistry course.

It's an easy read for those who are just starting chemistry; I'm not good with numbers, but this shows you how to work problems step by step.

The answer keys were most helpful, there are not answers to every review question, but there are for half of the questions, to give you an idea of whether you doing the problem correctly or not.

One of the easiest books on chemistry to read. It's like a chemistry for dummies. Helped me understand chemistry so much better than a couple of the harder books I've read.

Well the whole book was useful in helping me pass chemistry. It described everything in simple explanations.

Yes, very helpful examples were given for every chapter. There are practice problems that help before tests in class as well.

Everything was interesting, and in an easy to learn format.

How everything in the world works on an atomic level, since we cannot see this stuff with the naked eye. Moles, the periodic table, chemical and physical changes, and stoiciometry are among topics discussed.

This book would be better if it included an online portion, or better explanations for the included problems. The personal anecdotes are also unnecessary at the beginning of each chapter of the book.
