The author discusses in detail many different aspects of interpersonal communication. It's very thorough but not overly detailed where you won't understand it.
I would just update it. Some of the facts are a little bit outdated, like the number of new STDs in a year has definitely increased from 15 million to 19 million.read more
The chapters had examples of conversations and real life situations. which made it easy to understand the topics.

probably the review part of each chapter was least helpful since we rarely use them or discuss them.
There was a lot of repetition throughout the book. This may be a good thing for some people, but for me, it was something that was all in the class lecture.read more
