I haven't read any books on the same subject. This is the only book I owned on this topic.
I really enjoyed this course. It was for a class on youths and their milestones. I was taking teaching courses and this book helped me gain a knowledge of each milestone a child should be hitting from infancy to adolescence and gave explanations as to why they may not hit them at the same time .read more
I learned that not every child is the same. Every one of them grow mentally as well as physically at a different rate. They even explained the importance of nurture vs. nature

There is a lot about psychology in this book, I enjoyed learning about that the most.
The book really gives you a great amount of information, and I really feel that it has enough information and all the information that you need to know for the course that your taking. So no improvements are needed, unless your taking a course that requires more information.read more
