This book is about the different cultures and sexual orientation of human beings. How different cultures are around the world. How humans are with each other from heterosexual, homosexual, transexual, etc. This is a very fascinating textbook about human sexuality!
I learned so much from this book, ranging from what other cultures do in regards to sexuality from childhood into adulthood, learned what is acceptable and unacceptable in certain cultures and how living in my particular culture (The United States) is so different from many other cultures. I also learned about different STIs, pregnancy, what is considered normal and not normal, everything that one would want to know about human sexuality from the very early ages in history to the present time, and how some things actually haven't changed at all in some cultures and how other things have changed, for example, what is now acceptable that may have been taboo to even talk or think about before. So much information!read more
