In this book, I enjoyed each Chapter, and learned a lot about Human Resource Management, the only thing I would change is to make the words a little bigger to read, other than I wouldn't change a thing, this is a great book, I got a B in this class.read more
This book was one of my elective, which my major is Business and Management, and this class was what I chose for one of my elective, reading this book I learned so but, found out about a lot of things that a social worker has to do and what certificate is required to become a social worker, so even though my class was online, I really learned a lot. The Business book was one of my major and learning about supply and demand and knowing how to run a business, and when to look out for when starting a business this also was a great book.
Prior to taking this course I took employment law and learned a great deal of the same material in this book. I learned a lot of things that I feel would be more beneficial to learn on the job however learning the basic terminology was helpful. The text is a very simple read which made it easy to follow but also somewhat lugubrious even for a text book. In short, I learned the basics of Human Resource functions- it did its job but it was not exceptional.read more
The homework assignments at the end of each chapter, the answers were generally on the page before and did not require one to read the chapter- the assignments were far to easy for a college course!
