The various images, graphs, and tables were quite helpfulread more
It highlighted the relevance but also used various scenarios to better understand
Very informative and pretty easy to understand. Not enough pictures, charts, diagrams....made the read very boring at times.read more
Im a very visual person and I had to reread a lot of it.
The most useful thing I learned from this book was how the cardiovascular and respiratory systems work together and regulate many of our body functions. I also learned about some illnesses that many people are struggling with.read more
One thing I would change about this book would be to include more charts because the charts are what helped me understand the lessons a lot better. I would also make the chapter reviews just a tad bit more detailed.
Physiology and how the body actually prossesses things. It basicly adds on to the anatomy and helps understand why things do what they do in the body. The book was good with the pictures that it provided actually my teacher used the pictures as questions on the tests more times then not. I would say that it is to wordy and it was hard to concentrate and read. Maybe more review questions and answers to help with the understanding better.read more
The pictures really brought it home for me. I learned so much with the visuals that it blew my mind. I think that they really did help me pass the class. really the book didn't need words the pictures explained it all. Well done.
The graphs in this book were the most useful! They helped me the most when it came to studying for a test.read more
I enjoyed learning about the different chemical reactions taking part in my body in the different systems. It was very interesting and useful.
It provided good illustrations in studying physiology processes.read more
The book is extremely detailed and has good illustrations. However, it is sometimes wordy and does not get to the point of the processes. Overall, a typical textbook.
The diagrams and explanations that went along with the diagrams were extremely helpful in understanding how the human body works!read more
I think something that would make this book even better would be to include chapter tests/quizzes AND provide the answer key with these tests/quizzes so students can test themselves and prepare for upcoming exams.
The other books were mostly for English subject, but this one was Human Physiology where it is mostly Science.read more
