The primary subject of the book is human anatomy. The book was bery effective in covering the material I learned in class. What I like about the book is that is far more detailed than the lectures my professor gave us and the book made it much easier to understand what was going on in class.read more
Everything was very helpful. I would not say that any parts of the book were least helpful. It was easy to understand and the information being presented was very interesting. The book included everything you need to know about human anatomy.
The photographs, diagrams, charts, etc. were amazing.read more
Very detailed - takes a while to get through because there's just so much new information in each paragraph. I really liked how this book showed multiple pictures of each part of the body - from different angles and in different styles (i.e. diagrams and photographs), definitely a plus for visual learners
Easy to read and has great illustrations that allow for students to easily studyread more
The illustrations of the muscle groups are a bit tricky. It would be a little more helpful if they were a little more realistic. Overall, still an incredible illustration
Very up to date and informational for nursing students.read more
All the organs of the body, their systems, and accessories in order to maintain the body's homeostasis.
This book was the first I have read on the subject matter but it was very detailed and easy to understand.read more
I thought the muscle system chapter of this book was the most interesting. The diagrams are so detailed that it really helped me understand the system.
Human anatomy class was fun, I got to dissect a cat.read more
I wish the language was a little easier to understand.
I am a nursing student who is currently in nursing core classes and I took anatomy over a year ago with this book. Everything I learned in that class and in this book is most definitely coming back to me. What I appreciated the most about this book in particular is the bones and muscles chapters, which are some of the hardest chapters in this book because of how much we are supposed to memorize. However the book's illustrations and definitions are so clear and concise, it was easy for me to follow. The content of the book is also easy to read not fall asleep while reading!read more
I would change the size! It's too long and wide to fit in a backpack full of other books. I would condense it if possible.
This book goes into a lot of detail that my Anatomy professor didn't cover but definitely helped me understand the course better.read more
Helped me connect a lot of background information that I wasn't taught in lecture
For my class the book was perfect... in depth but not over the top.read more
Perhaps more cadaver-related photos but overall it was great.
I genuinely enjoyed this book, the only thing I would change is that some of the microscopic slide pictures seemed slightly different compared to the real life versions under a microscope.read more
I learned how the human body functions inside and out, this really is a great book!
I enjoyed the text and illustrations. I can't think of something unhelpful.read more
Anatomy. The graphs and charts are great visuals to go along with the text.
the pictures helped give me a better visual than the reading since i am a visual typer learner. But overall a great book!read more
