This book does all of the highlighting for you with important topic information in bold so there is no digging and searching for any particular information needed.
Learned many things about the human body from labeling the parts of the bones and brain to the functions of each part: cells, joints, tissues, cellular metabolism, chemical basis, blood, and different systems. Also how those parts are able to function, with each part broken down and easy to understand.read more
I like that is breaks each part down and you learn about every system. Also each system has pictures and diagrams to help you understand and learn how everything goes.

Ironically, the index and glossary. The glossary was severely lacking and commonly used words on quizzes and tests were not found in the index.
