This story is about a small municipality just outside of Chicago. The suburb is called the Village of Hillsdale. In the wee hours of the morning, a body belonging to one of the village employees of the wastewater treatment plant facility was found in the bottom of a well. This was murder, and the small village police department had to ask for help. Two homicide detectives from the Chicago police department were sent to aid them, and as the case begins to unfold, some strange things began happening. There are kidnappings, some clashes with the mob, and another body found at the treatment plant. But the action doesn’t stop there as they pursue anyone who was suspected of being connected to the dirty deed! The clues led the detectives to many suspects, and it was one of the police officers who finally figured it all out and brought the case to a close.
