Supernatural entities, ritualized murders, cannibalism, and an underground organization combine to thrust Dr. Jeremy Groves, Police Chief Dana Pit Hummer and his detective team down a path of horror from which they may not return. When the investigation appears to have stalled, Pit begins to receive e-mail, which unlocks the case, from someone within the underground organization.
