I used this for Organic Chemistry 1 & 2. It was a great asset to a subject that I had difficulty with from the start. It broke each subject down so it was easier to understand.

Make the print larger. Their is a lot of information in this book which is I'm sure why the print is smaller however at times it was hard to read and follow. Other then that it was a great learning tool.

I had to take an organic chemistry class because i am a nursing major and it was required.

I learned almost everything from this book! my professor was not the best which made me have to teach myself. i spent hours reading and studying this book so that I could get a good grade and a good understanding of the chemistry of the things that happen in and outside the human body.

Naming different carbon chain, reactions and how to apply chemistry to everyday life.

It breaks it down and provides examples on each lesson.

Reading the book is necessary to passing the course, by reading the book you will better understand what the professor is teaching in the class. The book is very explanatory and easy to comprehend with very interesting passages on health topics.

The chapters on compound structures are very well written in super intelligent language, for someone with no chemistry exposure this will be a difficult section.

The primary subject is chemistry. It goes over every single element and anything you would need to know about chemistry. I think that the book was pretty effective at covering it. But so much material to cover.

I have never read anything about chemistry or taken a class about it. I have taken science and biology classes. Learning chemistry is a lot harder and a lot more detailed than any other science.

I learned well reading the material and the only things i know about chemistry is what i read from the book so i wouldn't change anything.

general chemistry, it covered the material very well, we based all our tests out of what the book said therefore we had no issues with the book.

This book is a wealth of information in chemistry. It gives you lots of problems and examples to learn. Is easy to follow. Plenty of information and periodic table included. It even has the answers in the back to see if you worked a problem right.

It would have been nice to have a periodic table separated from the book and was able to dry erase on because that was very helpful to do when trying to learn about the periodic table.

If the illustrations were a bit bigger and if the chapters were shorter.

I liked the way the chapters were organized and it was very simple to go back and forth.

The chemical compounds and the history of how things became about in the world of chemistry.

The primary subject of this book was general, organic, and biological chemistry. This book was very effective in covering all these items.

I will be using this book for Chemistry 1151 and Chemistry 1152 and I will also keep and use this book so I can have it handy for when I am in nursing school so I can refer to different things as a refresher,

A cheaper cost would make this book better because it is crazy how the international version cost way less than the United States version and they both have the same information.
