Tatiana de la Tierra Born in Colombia and raised in Miami, Florida, tatiana de la tierra is a bilingual bicultural writer whose work focuses on South American memory and reality, her experience as an immigrant in this country, and lesbian phenomenology. Her writings have been published for the past 13 years in various anthologies and periodicals. De la tierra's plays have been produced in theatrical venues in California, Maryland, Texas, and Canada. She is former editor of the Latina lesbian magazines esto no tiene nombre (this has no name) and conmocion (commotion + in motion). She has been a featured reader at conferences and cultural events in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and throughout the United States. Among the honors she has received is the Audre Lorde Fellowship for Women of Colors Writers and Activists, 1998.
