I have always had a vivid imagination. I was born in March of 1960, in Paducah, Kentucky, the second of four children, raised on a farm in rural surroundings. I was married for a brief time, and divorced in 1981. I have one daughter, who is a professional hurdler in track and field. At present I am pursuing a degree from Indiana University, with an interest in creative writing and supernatural folklore and legends. Many of my stories were passed down from over 100 years ago. I have always had interest in the arts. My beginnings were influenced by relatives who were storytellers. On humid summer evenings in the 1960s when I was growing up, my grandmother and mother would tell ghost stories till darkness fell. This creative entertainment has been my inspiration in writing these stories.
