Musically, George Wythe Wayne is a performer, producer, and foremost a songwriter. His songs have been recorded by artists like the grammy-nominated New Orleans legend Rodney Armstrong. He has produced artists like piano legend Art Wheeler and groups such as The Trousers. He began his lifelong, desire to write fiction five years ago and choose his favorite genre, short stories. While starting a new story one evening it occurred to him that one of his songs The Devil Looked Good to Me was already a story. He began to see the possibilities of following the plot and characters of the song and using the story to expand the view. He was so pleased with how it turned out that he mined his song collection and began writing what was later to become Every Song Is a Story. His stories range from the flippant Just Out Sunday Driving and the happy I Wrote It Just For You, to stories about the passage of time like Went Away and Never Said Goodbye and of the deep loss and romantic love found in My Oh My it’s Hard To Understand.
