Good book. The material was explained using charts and graphs...bullets and heading and side notes. This is why I could keep up with this course...it simplified the information and offered examples to help illustrate. There were key terms that were highlighted and the summary at the end of each chapter was helpful.read more
Honestly, it was crafted really well. Maybe a CD could have helped and maybe it could have been interactive or there could be a website that offers additional support in understanding the material (especially with the graphs).
the assignments after each chapter was the least helpful for me. could be because i am in online class and we didn't use those exercisesread more

I enjoyed this book. It broke Economics down so that I could easily understand it. The real life examples that they used while incorporating the actual Economic terms made this book very user friendly.read more
This book was used for Economics 101. It was a beginning class to Economics, and showed you a little insight on how the industry is ran.
I liked that it added in some humor and many examples were relatable to college students. It was helpful as well to have Headlines in every chapter, providing real-world examples so we could see how the subject we're learning is applicable in every day life.read more
This book's primary subject was micro and macroeconomics which I thought it did a very well job on covering. Very effective organization of chapters and subjects making it easy to take notes on.
