Very informative text book. Although, I thought the class was very boring. I was blown away by all the information and thought that sometimes it was a little hard to understand. I think that there was a lot of emphasis put on the discrimination laws and felt a little overwhelmed at times.read more
The glossary and index were not very helpful. The text itself was an overwhelming amount of information, so I would forget where I read something and would refer back to the subject index and found that I was better off writing down page numbers as I made my notes along with key words.
This book was very thorough and easy to follow, nothing needed to be changed.read more
This book was very thorough and the explanation of case law was very beneficial.
I enjoyed Human Resource Law, My instructor is actually a lawyer who works in this field. This will help me in my future as a Healthcare Manager. I will now how to handle certain situations with employees, how to prevent discriminations and what is needed for background checks on employees and what is fair to them.read more
