This book would have been very helpful. However, the instructor did not use it to its potential. She taught it as a art history class instead of design. It was a design class therefore teaching it as art history was not helpful. This is not the book the college uses for art history.
How to design packages, and that color choices really do matter when looking at a package design. How I choose to package a product really does influence whether a person will buy the product or not. Through the writing skills of the authors mainly. The authors had a deep understanding of the importance of package design when it comes to the product and trying to sell the product. A graphic designer desperately needs to understand the product they are designing and the space it will be inhabiting in the store it is being sold in.
