This dynamic five-module training series teaches staff how to tackle specific classroom inclusion issues and offers practical "train-the-trainer" materials to ensure productive sessions. Each module comes with a Facilitator Guide (with forms and training materials) for the group leader and a Participant Guide (with reading materials and sample forms for following along with discussions) for those attending the staff training. Each Facilitator Guide provides a step-by-step plan for teaching the session. Sessions last from 2 to 6 hours each and can accommodate large or small groups of participants. Flexible sequencing provides options for planning periodic training sessions throughout the school year or concentrated ones during a semester. Most important, the training sessions focus on creating an environment that promotes belonging, community, and learning -- all while encouraging opportunities for collaboration and problem solving.
