The informative views on the subject matter for my choice of career. I loved the read, it was easily understood and in cronilogical order for the understanding part of it for me personally. I am mastering in the study of the criminal justice field, and criminalistics covered the hands on part of it. It was very interesting in going over the science part of investigations, especially crime scene coverage; what to do, what to look for, and how to recover the necessities. I appreciated the availability of the book, but the price was a bit high for a college student to afford, in opinion.

One thing? The price :) For a person trying to further their education, it can becaome expensive; especially when the person doesn't have the help from financial assistance. The book was a great assett in furthering my education, but like I said, totally expensive for an out-of-pocket-student. Then when it came time to sell back to possibly have money to get the next book required, they no longer were on the buyback list. I'm not sure if it was another edition added after this one, but it never made it to the buyback list. I feel it should have been, it obtained valuable information.

I would try to make the spreads and pages a bit more colorful. Some of the chapters that were more focused on the science behind certain forensic tests became more like a biology book- bland, colorless, and difficult to captivate readers.

The explanations and pictures in this book really helped when my classmates and I had to do our own forensic labs. Our professor was rather short-tongued so we learned the majority of the processes from the book.

This is very useful in understanding the functions of forensic science.

I would like to see more real-world scenarios and a more in-depth approach to how forensic science has contributed to law.

I learned different techniques to use when taking photographs.

It is mainly about the physical evidence collection and processing the evidence.

This book had a lot of useful information and I was able to use the same book for two of my classes (one was physical evidence and the other was biological evidence). Some of the techniques mentioned could be described in more detail, but other then that this text was very informative and useful.

Updated photographs would be nice. However, for books on this subject, this is common.

Really great book.... Helped me understand and identify deviant behavior..... Criminalistics gave me a brief over view of how crimes are handled, also explains several different techniques!

Nothing, the book gave excellent details!!!! I couldn't find any flaws or errors....
