The only thing that I wish would be changed about the book are the terms so that it would be easier to understand as some of the terms were difficult to define just with the book definition they gave.

The primary subject of the book was covering the history of policing and the criminal justice system and the book efficiently covered this subject in depth. Overall it taught a good basic concept of what the criminal justice derived from and how it is developing in today's world as well.

The class was Introduction to Criminal Justice which suits this book because the class discussed the steps of an investigation, how criminal justice came about, and the important people who had an influence on the justice system.

I learned that an individuals Miranda Rights do not have to be read to them when they are first arrested, but only when an individual is about to be interrogated.

Not all sections are arranged intuitively and often sub-sections are not set off properly shifting from main text to article/sub section with no warning. A large portion the charts and graphs used in the book don't make much sense. Essentially, Pearson has yet again released a book that was poorly planned and poorly laid out.

Introduction to Criminal Justice 1101. Troy University.

Criminal Justice. The book was easy to relate current affairs. I was able to effectively navigate it, and my professor based effective lessons on its content.

More diagrams would have been helpful in illustrating some of the book's more complicated aspects.

It is written very well, and flows through the process with a fluidity that is better than most criminal justics texts. It compartmentalizes the concepts in easily digestable segments.

Well written and easy to follow. I found it very informative for the early stages of criminal justice education. It includes examples that are easy to relate to.

Numerous amount of facts. I learned a lot about the jail system and how they are ran. I also learned about crime outside the system and what preventions are taken. The biggest thing I learned is the requirements that a person n the academy has which is very important to me seeing as how I want to become a police officer.

The headings of every section made looking for facts for my homework much easier. I also really enjoyed at the end of every chapter the summaries and everything it gave, because it was easier to find vocabulary words and certain topics. It also gave definitions which was cool.

This book goes in to detail more about the Criminal Justice system and it tells you a lot about the law and how they got started.

The subject of this book was about Intro To Criminal Justice and it was really effective. It gets you started on what you will be learning in the Criminal Justice courses. It gives a summary of what you will learn and understand about the Criminal Justice field.

This book helped me a lot! It has a lot of extra information that my professor didn't go over.

This is a criminal justice book that I used in my intro to criminal justice class. It covered a lot of information on criminals, policing, etc.

The court system in itself interests me. So, for the fact that this book went into detail about each and every scenario made it an amazing book.

Into to criminal justice was the class that I used this book for.

I haven't read any other books on the matter. I only have taken the one criminology class.

My class was a lecture hall where we had to read a couple chapters before class.
