Cow is at odds with Dog when he begins to bark all night, keeping her awake. Red-eyed and grumpy, Cow is so frustrated she can\u2019t stop grumbling and says mean things to others in the barnyard about that crazy, inconsiderate Dog.That is until one night when a rainstorm leaves Cow stuck in a big mud hole-with no one willing to stop and help her. Except Dog. Cow is never so happy to hear Dog\u2019s voice. Dog's barking alerts Farmer to pull Cow from the mud, and Cow realizes she shouldn\u2019t have judged Dog so harshly. She remembers that God\u2019s Word tells us to love others and treat them as you would want to be treated, which is what Dog had done for her. Cow apologizes for the mean things she said about Dog, and the two become friends. Now, on some nights, when all the other animals are tucked in their straw beds in the barn, you can see Cow and Dog side by side, crooning at the moon.
