Marty Nemko has several cool careers. As a career counselor, he has worked with 1,600 clients. He's in his 13th year as producer and host of Work with Marty Nemko, on a National Public Radio affiliate in San Francisco. He is the host of a nationwide PBS pledge-drive special, Eight Steps to a Better Worklife and a repeat guest on many TV and radio shows. He has been the primary interview source for dozens of articles, including in The New York Times, the Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. He attained a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and subsequently taught there. He does find a few moments for hobbies: He loves to play basketball and play romantic songs on the piano. Paul and Sarah Edwards are the award-winning coauthors of 13 other books, including Home-Based Business for Dummies and Changing Directions Without Losing Your Way. Their books, which have sold over a million copies, guide people in how to live the life they want to live while doing work they want to do. They cohost the weekly radio show Working From Home on the BusinessTalkRadio.Net. They are columnists for Entrepreneur magazine and have been named Speakers of the Year by Sharing Ideas magazine. Occasionally their show, broadcast from their California mountain home, is enriched by the barks of Billy, their toy Manchester Terrier.
