This just so happens to be the only book on physics that I used throughout college. We used it both for physics 1 class as well as physics 2.read more
Physics. It was very good at outlining key concepts as well as teaching the material in an understanding manner.
This book explains physics concepts but don't have the greatest pictures to help show the concepts.read more

The most useful thing I have learned from this book is how to apply physics in other classes using formulas and examples given in the text.
The equations and explanations of concepts. The author went into great detail to make sure the student reader was well aware and understanding of the material. He made the difficult tasks that were to be completed in physics very easy to understand.read more
Catholicism. It was very effective. The author went to great lengths to describe the ways of Catholicism and how it relates to our society today. This book was very helpful for my theology class and was also an interesting read.

EXPLAINING TOPICS IN A SIMPLER FORM. THE LANGUAGE IS COMPLICATED.

We used this book in a physics class that covered kinematics. Honestly though, never cracked the book open all class. The equation pages in the front and back covers were very helpful though.
