Being able to solve many of the problems by using the examples provided.read more
Medical terminology. Very effective because it breaks down each part and makes it simple to understand. Even the pictures are clear and helpful.
The way the book taught me different concepts on how to complete various problems was helpful and interesting.read more
There wasn't anything wrong with the book. It would have been nice if the answers for every problem was in the back just to see how you did.
I personally think that it was a bit wordy and that there could have been a few more visual demonstrations in some of the sections, such as pictures, charts, diagrams, etc.read more
In addition to adding more visual resources, I think that it would also make this book better if there were better descriptions for unknown terms and for some unknown terms I wasn't able to find any definition or descriptions explaining them. Those would have been helpful.
The class was quite interesting and the book definitely helped me review a lot better for exams and tests.read more

I don't recommend this book at all if you can avoid it. Everything is all over the place and the information is very hard to grasp. I actually ended up buying a different book that was not a required material.
It taught me the fundamentals in transformations to graph functions and their relations. It also taught me how to analyze functions and their graphs. Lastly how to apply a variety in techniques to solve different equations. This book was very clear and precise in an its examples and I would highly recommend! Great Book!read more

The examples of each equation helped me get a better understanding on how it's solve. Every time I solve a question out of the book I will check the answers from the back of the book this will help see if I did the equation right.
