I would offer different ways to solve a problem in each chapter.read more
There were certain problems I still couldn't understand even though there were examples.
If I could change one thing about this book, I would completely remove the answers that are in the back of it. It's way too tempting to just look up the answer and copy it down then to work the problem out yourself. You don't really learn much by looking up the answers.read more
I learned that math can be applied to everyday life way more often than we think. I learned this from the word problems that were usually found at the end of the exercise problems of each section of the book.
I'm not a big fan of math so I wouldn't change anything about it, except maybe to make it more fun. Include some games or real life situations where this would be applicable.read more
Nothing could make this book better. It gave me perspective on life and I enjoyed learning about arguments.
I would give a more step-by-step process for many of the functions.read more
Understanding how to use and operate the TI-87+, including using the graphing functions to estimate vertices, points of origin, zeroes, etc.
Nicely written book, good step-by-step instructions. Plenty of problems at the end of the chapters to give the student adequate practice.read more
I found in some places it does not give the simplest way of calculating the answers. The professors showed us a different way which was much less confusing than the methodology shown in the book. I would suggest researching to find the different methods and incorporating them into your book. Altogether, for a book on algebra, it was a very good book.
Very Well organized Book the subject matter was very easy to follow.read more
