This book gave you a better understanding on how every system in the body works together to function on a day to day basis. The book also gave you examples of what could go wrong if any of these systems where not balanced.
The incredible complexity of the bodies of multiple species.read more
Any medical field has a lot of latin and greek based words, and this helped me to better understand where these words come from, what they mean, and what roots give a specific location in the body.
There are many pictures in the book, which can be extremely helpful when trying to get through the heavy material in this book. There are a lot of important things in this book, that can sometimes be very difficult to read and comprhend, as the material it covers is fairly extensive, and shouldn't be halfway understood. The pictures give the reader a little break from all the written material, as well as assist in visualization in regards to the reading.read more
This book was very interesting from start to finish! anatomy can be hard to learn if you're uninterested in the subject; however, this book has found a way to make it easy and interested to even the most adverse reader.
It explained things well and displayed good pictures when they were needed. It didn't spend too much time focusing on trivial matters.read more
It was very simple and easy to understand. Good for when you need to learn the material quickly.
