I learned a more in depth lesson in chemistry. This book used visual aspects as well as detailed explanations to help me understand the different laws of chemistry better.

I learned that even the smallest changes to an equation can lead to a different answer. By that I mean that anyone can memorize the equations, however, checking over work and even having to recalculate the problem can be most beneficial.

The blue boxes in the text portion of the book were very helpful in learning the calculations and the problems at the end of the chapters were very helpful in studying for the tests and also the final.

Some of the topics were overwritten, giving way too much background and descriptions so that reading the chapters could get somewhat tedious in places. Also I would suggest having some one go through the answers listed in the back of the book and checking the work for the give it some thought and end of the chapter problems as I found at least 5 answers that were not correct. I should have made a note of these but I honestly was not expecting to review this book at the time.

The questions were not at all helpful to me because they did not relate to what we were being asked in class.

The primay subject was Chemistry 101. It covered the basics of chemistry very well.

I would try to give more complex examples when describing concepts. They were too easy of examples.

The in-text examples of concepts did not help to really understand the material. They were too easy.

The book was very helpful with covering the material of the class. It provided examples and diagrams, as well as simple explanations to many of the problems.

This book went over the material in my PreCalc class. The class was challenging, but this book aided in my studies.

Language is too much for a beginning chemistry student. Although the graphs and illustrations help alot!

Writing it in an easier-to-understand language. Also the chapter on quantum numbers is much too difficult than it needs to be.

Probably shorter chapters with more direct statements.

It allowed me to look at diagrams and read explanations beyond what my teacher showed and told us.

I learned about all the different bonds, elements, how to read a chemistry table, etc.

This book was overall a very good chemistry book. It was easy to follow and it was easy to find what I needed.

More visuals and shorter passages would make their book better. Also, for all the practice questions there should be answers to go along with it and how to do some of the problems.

I learned stoichiometry, intermolecular forces, equilibriums, and chemical kinetics.

IT shows very good examples on how to solve the problems. Also it has great tips for remembering the concepts of chemistry

Kind of make the words a tad more simple for better understanding
