I would put more example problems in each section to help show how to do the problems correctly.

I took Chem 1211 and 1212 with this textbook, the teacher was a great teacher but taught fast so I had to do a lot of the teaching myself so the example problems were very good for me to see but I needed more than what was given so I also looked up videos and went to tutoring.

This book gives a very detailed and thorough overview of general chemistry. The text, although somewhat complex, gives a good understandable explanation of the topic.

I used this book for two semesters of freshmen level general chemistry. As a biology major, it helped me understand the chemical processes that help maintain life and taught me useful lab techniques.

Nothing, the book was great and a great study tool.

It was actually a good book to use. Good examples and explanations

Primary subject was an intro to chemistry. It was very effective in covering the basics.

The book work problems in here are very hard to understand and you can rarely find a good explanation on how to do them there for they were probably the least helpful to me.

Over all I learned a lot out of this book for both general chemistry I & II and it helped me further understand organic chemistry once I got into those classes as well.

More Answers in the back of the book. I really needed the odd answers to help with my homework so I could understand the material better.

Good examples for certain topics that my professor didn't explain very well. The best Chemistry book I have used.

I learned so much in g chem i learned all bout reactions and how to balance equations and oxidation reduciton reactions.

Chemistry is the primary subject. The book was very effective in teaching the primary subject but the teacher also is important.

This book explained the material so much better than other books I have used.

I felt like all the material was the same level of interesting.
