All students worldwide, learn by using their eyes and ears while reading, or listening to the teacher or to the students as they recite, etc. In other words, they are taught or shown something, and they are graded by how much they can remember. This is good, and Memory Ability must be continued as ONE of our SEVEN most important abilities. When hundreds of our students have their grades plotted on a bell curve, half of the students will be placed above average, and half below average. However, when students are guarded in only this ONE Academic Memory Ability, it has these THREE MAJOR FAULTS: FAULT ONE: The students who receive above average grades are lead to believe they are above average in ALL of their abilities, which is NOT true. It it were true, a person's IQ would accurately determine one's income. (See pp13 of the new book: "The Cause and Cure of Dropout"). This has been proven out to be NOT true by over 168 researching professors, who interviewed thousands of college graduates at least 10 years after graduation from college or university, and learned: One's grades have little or no effect upon one's success, anyway! FAULT TWO: The students who receive grades below average grades are lead to believe they are below average in ALL of their abilities, which is also NOT true, but no one ever explains this fact to them! This causes them to have an inferiority complex. Many want to get away from this every day unhappy school situation by skipping classes, dropping out of school, having sex, breaking laws, etc., even though many of them have hidden high scores in other abilities which could have made them highly successful. Over 1,200 students have been tested with The 7-ABILITY PLAN, and over 98% received at least one ability grade of B- or higher! Many inventors and many of the great leaders in the world, like Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln, had only average grades in school. FAULT THREE: There are no accurate Career Selection Exercises in use today, as one cannot accurately select a career using only ONE of his/her abilities.
