Summary: Candy is thirteen, living in Saskatoon with her parents, her little brother "Carboy," and Murphy the dog. She is tired of waiting for Grade 8 to end, her mom's constant nagging, and Gerald the geek hurling insults from across the street.She starts hanging out with some new and exciting friends - friends her mother wouldn't approve of. Candy's new friends have tattoos, they smoke, drink, and they even shoplift. They l...ead dangerous lives that Candy doesn't begin to understand, but she doesn't see any harm in hanging out with them.
