Ricky Clemons has compiled "A Brush of Poetry", as a tribute to the Lord. It provides a practical, motivational, and inspirational view of the height and depths of God's infinite love. So motivationg that he has touched to reach out to others through pen of inspiration. It is through the darkness that God ask us to shine as lights. To lift up, to embrace and to comfort those beyond our reach, thereby expressing the magnitude of his love towards us. Ricky a native of Suffolk VA now residing in Franklin VA with his wife Trephnia after swerving in the United States Military before retiring said, he was inspired to write poetry after he gave his life over to the Lord. Although this is his first book, Ricky has been penning poetry as far back as the early 1990s. Ricky has since released his own albums of music centering around his poetry. Some of which has been recorded as Country Gospel Music by Hill Top Records in Hollywood, California and Mulholland Records Suffolk Virginia. Throughout these pages Ricky shares some of hi most intimate moments with the Lord, the only medium to true joy, Ricky said, God gave me this light during the darkest moments of my life. The gift to reach others through poetry. Now I must give back to his people that which he has given me. Ricky has now devoted the remainder of his life to the services of the Lord and is hopeful that those who read his work will be inspired to carry out his work.
