Summary: Two college students, in their attempt to develop their thesis for doctorate degrees in veterinary medicine, develop a means of controlling animals. The two accomplish this initially by deploying micro-voltage implants in the animals’ brains. Recognizing the financial potential of this capability, they decide to present the government with a demonstration, hoping to receive government financing to facilitate the deve...lopment of their product. The two soon discover that the government intends to use their new technology for military purposes. Understanding the potential for disastrous environmental consequences, they decide to destroy the technology. One escapes with a canine that will serve as proof to the media of his allegations. He is eventually captured, but the dog escapes to be found by an unwitting victim who, because of circumstances in his life, compromises his own morals to exploit the animal. [read more]
