The class I used this book for was my applied calc one class, I could never undestand the professor so I relied on the book to understand the material.

Practice Problems and the answers in the back of the book, for study purposes

I would like to see more real world examples. it gives many examples but many do not apply to the student. if you try to read this book you will get bored but by studying the actual problems, the class will be a breeze.
Applications of Calculus and how to solve problems. Very effective the examples were great!read more
A majority of the text was helpful, some examples were a little complex and not explained very well. With the assistance of a teacher it definitely helps with the learning process.
