Anita Bohensky, PhD Director, Whole Child / Adolescent Center Dr. Bohensky is a graduate of New York University where she received her Doctor of Philosophy in Developmental Psychology. She has extensive training in Psychoanalysis, Psychotherapy, and Psychological Testing, with a certificate from the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, New York, NY. She is presently the Clinical Director of Growth Central, an Assistant Adjunct Professor and Supervisor at Columbia University Teachers College, and a Supervisor at Postgraduate Center for Mental Health. Dr. Bohensky has been a Consultant in Learning Disabilities/ Attention Deficit Disorder/and Childhood Psychopathology at New York Foundling Hospital, at Abbott House, and at SUNY Learning Disability Division, NYC. She has an abiding interest in the psychoanalytic basis of behavior which underlies her work with children, adolescents, and adults. She has a private practice in Ridgewood, NJ and New York City. Dr Bohensky is the author of the Anger Management Workbook For Kids and Teens, the Self Esteem Workbook for Teens, and the Binge/Compulsive Eating Workbook for Kids and Teens.
