Author Valle Rischer received her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 1995. She now practices three days a week with her husband Jon, who is also a dentist, in Columbia, Missouri. The majority of the time she enjoys spending with her children Christian, who is 3 years old, and Audrey, who is one year old. In her spare time, Valle enjoys exercising, reading, taking dental continuing education courses, and traveling with her family. She is an active member in her church, Our Lady of Lourdes. She always welcomes the opportunity to lend support to anyone who has lost a child.
