Mrs. Jones was born in Los Angeles, raised in Indiana, and presently lives in South Carolina. She has loved writing since she was a child, and started writing Angel Mountain, her first novel, over forty years ago. She has since penned over four other novels, many short stories, non-fiction and poetry. She is presently working on a book of her life as a child growing up called Daddy Are We Home Yet. She has won many awards for her writing. Miss Bonnie operated her own Playhouse for ten years where she produced and directed over fifty stage plays. Four of her original plays were also produced on Community Theatre stages. She has worked with an independent motion picture company and with television commercials. Watch for her other works: A trilogy of Novellas, Dance in the Dust (set in the 30s on an Alabama tenant farm), Dance in the Sand and The Dance of Prejudice. Her collection of short stories is titled Idyllic Intrigues. Under the Pen Name of October Weller she has a series of detective novels started titled Mark Dickerson, MD (Master Detective).
